Johnny King-Marino DC,CCSP

Dr. John

Johnny King-Marino DC, CCSP: Dr. King-Marino is a certified sports physician, marathon runner and Ironman Triathlete. He treats athletes of all ages and abilities from CYO track runners to world champion marathoners. He has competed in six marathons setting his personal best of 2:37 at the age of 41. He has twice competed as a member of Team USA and was a national Age Group and Masters Duathlon Champion. As an Ironman he has competed in eight Ironman races and has twice qualified and competed at Ironman World championships in Kona. Johnny is a chiropractor for Team USA Triathlon and has been practicing over twenty six years. Dr. Johnny is experienced with Active Release Technique, Graston Technique and a host of other soft tissue and deep muscle therapy methods. He is a frequent lecturer both within the local community as well teaching post graduate studies nationally for several chiropractic colleges.


Derek Gearhart DC

Derek

Dr. Derek and his family are Bucks County residents. He is a graduate of Penn State University and New York Chiropractic College. He is a certified Active Release Specialist (ART). Dr. Gearhart who played baseball in college is now an avid runner and triathlete He is a member of the Bucks County Road Runners and HighRoad cycles Multisport Club. He recently qualified for the Boston Marathon, smashing the qualifying standard by more than five minutes. We are pleased to have him as part of our team. Derek has a busy family practice however with a degree in exercise science; Dr. Gearhart chooses to focus a large part of his practice on sports medicine. Dr. Derek has worked at many regional events such as the Bucks 5K series, the Syracuse Festival of Road Races, The Muscle Man Triathlon, and the Junior Olympic games. Here at Advances Sports Chiropractic he works with our team of providers delivering quality healthcare to patients and athletes of all levels.  As a special modality, Dr. Derek offers Active Release Technique for athletes and patients with chronic pain. He holds masters certifications for the upper extremity, Lower extremity, and spine. When not enjoying his family, seeing patients or running 20 mile runs Dr. Gearhart also teaches Anatomy and physiology at Bucks County Community College.



Don Goldstein L. Ac. Dipl.Ac., Certified


DonAn avid golfer and dog lover, Don Goldstein has been practicing acupuncture in Doylestown for over twenty years, using a treatment style he developed called Unique Pain Management and Wellness. This technique combines the use of Japanese acupuncture, balance method acupuncture, muscle channel technique acupuncture micro-current electrical stimulation, and auricular therapy to heal multiple areas of the body and alleviate pain. These combined therapies greatly enhance the bodies natural ability to heal.


Abby Pfrommer, CMT


AbbyAbby Pfrommer is a graduate of the Professional School of Massage in Langhorne, PA. As an avid runner, and beginner triathlete, Abby is experienced in recognizing and treating athletic injuries through massage. Using a variety of techniques like Swidish, deep tissue, and sport-specific massage. As our office manager she involved in all aspects of the medical practice.
